The temporary exhibition is devoted to life in Oyé during the 1939/1945 war. Life in the village was disrupted by the arrival of large numbers of refugees from Luxembourg, Belgium and northern France, as well as by the absence of men who had been taken prisoner, restrictions, a key event in the Resistance, the shootings at Paray-le-Monial, where a young man from Oyé lost his life, and other deaths during deportation. Documents and staging tell the story of this period. During your visit, you can also admire the large-format exhibition of old photos and memorabilia from the 14-18 war... You'll also find all the rooms presenting the rural town of yesteryear, including the school, the interior of Brionnais, the bassie, the clog maker, etc.
