For its next conference, Charolais-Brionnais en transition is revisiting the theme of agroforestry and inviting two speakers: Emmanuel Torquebiau and Julien Quéval!
The speakers:
- Emmanuel Tourquebiau is an ecologist specialising in agroforestry and a researcher at CIRAD, the French agricultural research and international cooperation organisation for sustainable development.
- Julien Quéval is a farmer nurseryman and agroforestry technician, and a member of the French Agroforestry Association.
A word from the speakers: "In this two-part conference, we will combine our views as researchers and agroforestry nurserymen on what agroforestry is and can be.
We will show how the association of woody plants with agricultural practices enables ecosystem levers to be activated in response to a wide range of agricultural issues".
