Black Velvet Band - Photo Credits : CEP
For the 26th year (1998-2024), the CEP in Saint-Christophe-en-Brionnais will be welcoming the musicians of the Black Velvet Band from Würzburg in Franconia, who specialise in Irish music. As in previous years, the festival will feature 3 concerts:
- Friday 4 October 2024, 8.30pm: Romanesque church of Saint-Romain-sous-Gourdon, in Charolais, at the request of the commune.
- Saturday 5 October 2024, 8.30pm: cloister church in Saint-Nizier-sous-Charlieu, in collaboration with the Conseil départemental de la Loire, owner of the building.
- Sunday 6 October 2024, 4.00pm: Iguerande Romanesque church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site candidate, along with 7 other Cluniac buildings in the Charolais-Brionnais region.
