The Romanesque Contemporary Art Biennial (3rd edition), open to the public, is being held at eleven venues along the circuit of Romanesque churches in the Charolais-Brionnais and at the headquarters of the Centre d'études des Patrimoines Culturels en Charolais-Brionnais (CEP). Works of contemporary art (paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, photographs, ceramics, textile creations, etc.) interact with the riches of this exceptional architectural heritage.
The Biennial creates original encounters through the discovery of historic monuments and the artists' proposals. Organised by the CEP and the Belgian association Lieux-Communs, this 3rd edition of Romanesque invites visitors to take a fresh look at the Charolais-Brionnais region and its medieval heritage.
A visitor's booklet can be downloaded from the "www.charolais-brionnais.net" website to plan your visit and discover the works of Sonia Aniceto, Zoé Benoit, Jade Boissin, Camille Bruat, Chloé Girten, Isabella Hin, Fantine Isis, Lucie Kerouedan, Manon Pellan, Eugenia Reznik, Kee-Tea Rha and Julie Susset.
